- In 1990, as we were driving through a little village, I noticed a quaint old barn with a corrugated roof, and a newly-built house adjacent to it. They were standing on a large plot of land, full of pernicious weeds - a corner of a farmer's field, in fact. Then we saw the "For Sale" sign. Four months later we moved in and decided to create a garden for wildlife. contact me

Hello again, britt-arnhild. This garden was right beside the Accademia bridge, on the same side as the palazzo Franchetti, where the Artists' Self-Portraits exhibition was. Thank you for revisiting my blog.
We visited Venice last year and had a wonderful time. Thank goodness for digi cameras :-) we took so many pics! I really enjoyed looking through yours, we loved the roof gardens, people will always find a place to grow their plants!
